Blizzard Entertainment's most recent release was the  World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade®   expansion set  for Blizzard's award-winning subscription based super multi-player online role-playing game, World of Warcraft.

Launched in January 2007 simultaniously in North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand much to the delight of the gaming community around the globe.

The Expansion pack - World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade sold a record-setting 2.4 million copies in its first 24 hours of availability, making it the fastest-selling PC game of all time -- a mark previously held by Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos , it went on to sell 3.5 million copies within its first month making it the World most played online game EVER in the history of Man, Elf, Wizard or Demon .

Since then the game has achieved popularity on a global scale, with currently more than 10 million subscribers worldwide. It's available in seven different languages based on players global regions and has continously earned awards and high praise around the world for graphics, playability and popularity just to name a few.

We are all waiting with greedy little hands and flaming breath, determined to be the first to get our hands on a copy. At least I am!

The original Warcraft game, Warcraft®: Orcs & Humans   voted one of the best strategy games of 1994,  (in my humble opinion THE BEST) and the sequel, 1995's Warcraft® II: Tides of Darkness, won several awards, including "Game of the Year". (Imagine that!)

Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, was released in July 2002. It has also won several w00ts and  become one of the  standards of professional gaming, along with its expansion pak Warcraft® III: The Frozen Throne, released in July 2003. Since then they have literally become a part of our every day lives. Yes boss, even around the water cooler!

As for the future of Blizzard Entertainment, I don't see it fading out any time soon, so put on your gtauntlets get out your sword, call in the team, get online and  Get It On!
